Aster-X Capital Management is an Amsterdam based independent equity investment management company. The business focuses on long-term capital appreciation of its investments rather than to perform in relation to a benchmark equity index.

The company was founded by Pieter-Jan Husken, Jan Stam and Marc Voncken and incorporated in the Netherlands on 15 January 2002 in Amsterdam. The company is registered in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce of Amsterdam under number 34165111.

Pieter-Jan Husken and Marc Voncken are responsible for all investment management issues, while Jan Stam as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operational Officer is, amongst other things, responsible for operations, risk management and compliance.

Aster-X Europe Fund

Aster-X Capital Management BV is the investment manager for the Aster-X Europe Fund. The Aster-X Europe Fund is a fund of joint account. It is managed with a strategy of long/short stock picking focusing on Europe. Goldman Sachs International is acting as prime broker and the N.V. Nederlandsche Administratie - en Trust kantoor as custodian. Fortis fund services (Ireland) Limited, formerly called MeesPierson fund services (Dublin) Limited, serves as the fund's administrator. The fund is set up for both private and institutional investors and is subject to an initial minimum investment level of € 250.000,00

Last week (27th of June 2008) the unaudited net value of a participation in the Aster-X Europe Fund was € 167.72 (Unaudited gross was € 167.72)

Aster-X Panorama Fund

Aster-X Capital Management BV is the investment manager for the Aster-X Panorama Fund. The Aster-X Panorama Fund is a fund of joint account. It is managed with a strategy of long/short stock picking focusing on Europe with a more concentrated portfolio approach. Goldman Sachs International is acting as prime broker and the Stichting Bewaarbedrijf ANT-Trust as custodian. Fortis Prime Fund Solutions, serves as the fund's administrator. The fund is set up for both private and institutional investors and is subject to an initial minimum investment level of € 250.000,00
